SATs and GCSE Maths Revision

To help you and your students prepare for Stage 2 SATs and GCSE Maths Exams, we have created a series of brand-new, completely free mixed-topic revision quizzes, covering all the key topics from the respective courses.

These consist of 20 Quiz As, featuring original questions, and 20 Quiz Bs, which are clones of Quiz A, but with different numbers and a different order of answers.

Here are 3 ways you might choose to use them:

1. Use the questions in class

Each day you might choose to ask, say, 3 of the questions from a Quiz A. Simply project a question up on your board, give students time to think, let them vote (either with fingers, ABCD cards or mini-whiteboards), justify their answers, and then let the class discussions begin! And if the question has proved a particularly divisive one, and misconceptions have been uncovered, then you can always ask the clone version from the accompanying Quiz B at a later date to make sure those misconceptions have been resolved.

2. Set a quiz as homework

Each quiz covers a range of different topics, making them ideal as a revision homework. Not only that, but as the teacher you will benefit from the automated marking. This should save you hours a week, allowing you to immediately identify troublesome questions, and then spend your time doing something that will really make a difference - thinking about how to help your students overcome the misconceptions that have been identified. And if that wasn’t enough, your students will also benefit from our redesigned quiz review process, which allows them to think hard about any mistakes they have made and set about resolving them themselves without having to wait until the next lesson.

To get started setting a quiz, you need to:

  • Make sure your students are set up on our system. Just contact one of the team using the chat function in the bottom-right corner to get going
  • Choose a quiz from below, click Assign to class, pick your start and end date, and tell your students the good news :-)

I really hope both you and your students find these quizzes useful, and happy revising!
